One system, two surfaces

The same records, reached two ways. Which one you get is decided by the account, and an account’s role is fixed when it is created.
For teachers — the mobile app
Record attendance and grades on an Android phone, offline, in the room. The device holds the records and syncs them on its own once a signal returns — a class you keep to yourself stays private to you even inside a school.
Distributed to pilot schools directly.
For administrators — the web portal
Open the browser portal to review classes, rosters, attendance and scores across the school, and to manage the roster and class enrolments. Sign-in is email and password; the database decides what each account may see.

Record on the phone
A teacher takes attendance and enters scores during class, with or without a signal. The device database is the source of truth.

Sync when there is signal
Changes upload in one transaction, keyed by identifiers generated on the device, so a retry after a dropped connection cannot duplicate a record.

Verify in the browser
Administrators open the same records in the portal — the same roster, the same attendance, the same scores — and confirm the two agree.
In development. TAKI is a capstone project under active build. The administrator portal is in internal testing and the teacher application is not yet publicly distributed.
